Security issues on GPS gadget & mobile phone
This will give us something to think about with all our new electronic technology.. .. especially the GPS warning.
I know that I have my HOME location keyed into the GMXT unit.. I will now remove it, or else put in the Local Police station as my home address.
GPS
A couple of weeks ago a friend told me that someone she knew had their car broken into while they were at a football match. Their car was parked on the green which was adjacent to the football stadium and specially allotted to football fans. Things stolen from the car included a garage door remote control, some money and a GPS which had been prominently mounted on the dashboard.
When the victims got home, they found that their house had been ransacked and just about everything worth anything had been stolen.
The thieves had used the GPS to guide them to the house. They then used the garage remote control to open the garage door and gain entry to the house. The thieves knew the owners were at the football game, they knew what time the game was scheduled to finish and so they knew how much time they had to clean out the house. It would appear that they had brought a truck to empty the house of its contents.
MOBILE PHONE
I never thought of this…….
This lady has now changed her habit of how she lists her names on her mobile phone after her handbag was stolen. Her handbag, which contained her cell phone, credit card, wallet… Etc…was stolen.
20 minutes later when she called her hubby, from a pay phone telling him what had happened, hubby says ‘I received your text asking about our Pin number and I’ve replied a little while ago.’
When they rushed down to the bank, the bank staff told them all the money was already withdrawn. The thief had actually used the stolen cell phone to text ‘hubby’ in the contact list and got hold of the pin number. Within 20 minutes he had withdrawn all the money from their bank account.
Moral of the story:
Do not disclose the relationship between you and the people in your contact list.
Avoid using names like Home, Honey, Hubby, Sweetheart, Dad, Mom, etc….
And very importantly, when sensitive info is being asked through texts, CONFIRM by calling back.
Also, when you’re being text by friends or family to meet them somewhere, be sure to call back to confirm that the message came from them. If you don’t reach them, be very careful about going places to meet ‘family and friends’ who text you.

Politics Explained
A little boy goes to his dad and asks, “What is politics?”
Dad says, “Well son, let me try to explain it this way: I’m the breadwinner of the family, so let’s call me capitalism.
Your Mom, she’s the administrator of the money, so we’ll call her the Government. We’re here to take care of your needs, so we’ll call you the people.
The nanny, we’ll consider her the Working Class. And your baby brother, we’ll call him the Future. Now, think about that and see if that makes sense.”
So the little boy goes off to bed thinking about what dad had said. Later that night, he hears his baby brother crying, so he gets up to check on him. He finds that the baby has severely soiled his diaper. So the little boy goes to his parents’ room and finds his mother sound asleep. Not wanting to wake her, he goes to the nanny’s room. Finding the door locked, he peeks in the keyhole and sees his father in bed with the nanny. He gives up and goes back to bed.
The next morning, the little boy says to his father, “Dad, I think I Understand the concept of politics now.” The father says, “Good son, tell me in your own words what you think politics is all about.” The little boy replies, “Well, while Capitalism is screwing the Working Class, the Government is sound asleep, the People are being ignored and the Future is in deep shit.”

Husband Store
A brand new store has just opened in
New York City that sells Husbands.
When women go to choose a husband,
they have to follow the instructions
at the entrance:
“You may visit this store ONLY ONCE!”
There are 6 floors and the value of
the products increase as you ascend
the flights. You may choose any item
from a particular floor, or may choose
to go up to the next floor, but you
CANNOT go back down except to exit the
building! So, a woman goes to the
Husband Store to find a husband.
On the 1st floor the sign on the door
reads:
Floor 1 – These men have jobs. The 2nd
floor sign reads:
Floor 2 – These men Have Jobs and Love
Kids.
The 3rd floor sign reads:
Floor 3 – These men Have Jobs, Love
Kids and are extremely good looking.
“Wow,” she thinks, but feels compelled
to keep going.
She goes to the 4th floor and the
sign reads:
Floor 4 – These men Have Jobs, Love
Kids, are Drop-dead Good Looking and
Help with Housework.
“Oh, mercy me!” she exclaims, “I can
hardly stand it!”
Still, she goes to the 5th floor and
sign reads:
Floor 5 – These men Have Jobs, Love
Kids, are Drop-dead Gorgeous, help
with Housework and Have A Strong
Romantic Streak.
She is so tempted to stay, but she
goes to the 6th floor and the sign
reads:
Floor 6 – You are visitor 31,456,012
to this floor. There are no men on
this floor. This floor exists solely
as proof that women are impossible to
please. Thank you for shopping at the
Husband Store.
To avoid gender bias charges, the
store’s owner opens a New Wives store
just across the street.
The 1st floor has wives that love sex.
The 2nd floor has wives that love sex
and have money.
The 3rd through 6th floors have never
been visited.

Spurs 1 – 3 United
Quote from Jamie Yeo (cute lass presenter @ ESPN Spore)
“1-0 down, 1 man down, still United won 3 – 1. That’s the true mark of champion”
Truthfully, watching the games was like a rollercoaster ride for me.
Heck, not even 1minutes on the clock and already we have conceded a goal thanks to a superb bicycle kick from Defoe. After watching Arsenal got stumped by Citeh 4 – 2, I can’t bear to think that we gonna lose this game. The media surely will have a field day tomorrow hammering United and Arsenal as spent force for this year campaign.
As my brother was laughing like hell, quietly I still have hope that United can come back since history has shown that we always do well when facing Spurs at White Hart Lane. 4 meetings last year and we alway came top.
Thanks to superb freekick by Giggsy & a piledriver by Anderson (good first goal son), we goes into the dressing room leading 2 – 1. Then Scholesy had to have his clumsy tackles (as always) and got sent off for the 9th time of his glittering career. Spurs must be thinking that they gonna have a way back into the game as the end is still far.
What I’ve witness later is truly a masterclass display from United. 1 man down but still we control the midfield and looking a genuine threat to get the next goal that will decide the encounter whenever we venture forward.
1 throw from Foster to the energetic Fletcher was all that we need. The new United midfield enforcer then pumped the ball forward looking for Wazza where he didnot disappoint this time. He raced forward then skillfully glided past 2 defender (Hutton & Essou Ekotto) before place it underneath Cudicini legs to put the game well beyond Spurs reach.
All in all, this is the game that we will surely look back in May 2010 when we held aloft the 19th title. Mark my word.
