The Hunter is coming to OT

The Hunter

The Hunter

If the news in soccernet bears any truth in it then I would be very happy to know that The Hunter aka Klass Jan Huntelaar has expressed his intention to join Manchester United. This is what has been reported in soccernet.

Ajax striker Klaas Jan Huntelaar claims Manchester United are ‘very interested’ in signing him. The 24-year-old’s failure to agree a new contract at the Amsterdam ArenA has led to speculation he could be in line for a move, and the Holland frontman reckons the English champions are keen to acquire his services. ‘I know certain English clubs are following me, like Manchester United, who are very interested in me,’ he told Dutch reporters. ‘I love clubs with great history like Ajax, I also love Manchester United. ‘It’s a club that makes me dream, especially as Ruud van Nistelrooy played there and did great things with them.

Personally I think it is high time that United acquire a central striker in the mould like RVN. Not only due to the facts that Saha is very injury prone but, the tactical game plan can be change whenever there is a need to do it. Tevez & Rooney are too alike in their play that our game has been too predictable at times (not that I’m complaining though since we’ve won 2 titles last term).

So if The Hunter really is coming to OT, I will welcome him with an open arm & surely we can look forward to next season with real belief than we can retain the BPL & European Champs League.
